можно прожить на 400 фунтей в месяц, включая все (rent, living expences, transport etc). я так уже второй год живу;
Платят обычно в универах в два приема;
Плачьтесь и проситесь в Part-time Programme Administrators в вашем же универе.;
я реально заметил что проще и ДЕШЕВЛЕ найдти комнату, как вам удобнее.. Пример: halls стоит от 80 до 110 фунтей в неделю, я плачу 70 и живу почти во 2ой зоне;
Частные лендлорды, скорее всего, попросят ренту за 1 месяц + депозит в размере месячной ренты;
квартиру искал приехав, по интернету (www.gumtree.com и др.), и по газете loot;
где я живу подводных камней не замечал кроме того, что нет стиральной машины (но в холлс у вас ее тоже не будет).. но как-то привык, за 4-5 фунтей, раз в месяц стирать;

Undergrad достаточно (кроме профессий вроде медицины, юриспруденции и т.д), поетому на мастерс идут в оснвном иностранцы, а для универов ето отличный дополнительный доход, т.к. на undergrad fees are capped.
