... There are so many people with psychological problems because of political games. This reminds me of a cartoon from a newspaper: there was an old man dying because of war, a middle age person killing another one, and a mum with a small kid trying to escape, and there was a sentence near the child saying that he will have to revenge his family in the next war.

I wonder what monster will grow out of Russia, because I have seen what is going on in the big towns and in the countryside. The countryside looks like there have not been anybody in there for a long time. We have been in the edge of a protected zone, where Nikita's father was working for some time on the birds. They were counting them, and all the animals, protecting, studying.... The zone territory is like half France. Now nobody have been working with the zone for over 10 years. The village around it lives with what they get groun in their parts of land near each house. They do not get paid. The director of the zone is drunk all the time: he starts to fail understanding what is going around him (when alcohol is damaging for too long the brain, the person fails to understand socially normal behaviour,- and they can not become normal any more).

There are no more cows in the villages, the grass is not cutten any more, most people spend their time drinking alcohol. Some (few) normal people can not get out of there: doctors do not get paid, or too few. I think they sometimes get some food from the neighbours, but not a lot (they also have gardens with food). The director told me and Nikit: take the son of the doctor with you in London! I think I had to tell him the immingration rools: all about the cost of studentship and the rules of HMSP. I still can not afford going to university.

The big towns look much better, but feel absurd. You look at all the people, living their lives, trying to survive, and you know that companies only accept projects which give them immediate benefit. There is also the problem of the foreign investors which fix amazing interest rates because there is no stability in the country. And you know there are around the foregn companies coming in the countries in crisis: it is easier to get money in the countries falling apart. There are also groups of young people killing all the southern foreighners they can get and lonely professionnal killers getting only the big bosses (like in wild west westerns). The unhappy meeting rise very few people, but a lot of "opposition to the power" reporters and even a larger amount of police with water machines and the right to knock everybody.

А ещё мне жутко не понравилось, что водители перестали включать поворотники. Первобытно-общинных водителей взяли на слабо подобные? Бе.

Я сегодня видел корову. В черте города. То что у нас есть огромные нетронутые пространства - это хорошо. Очень, очень скоро все захотят сюда, а не в Лондон. Хотя врачу в Лондоне конечно было бы неплохо, в ближайшие пять или десять лет. Там не HSMP, там специальная схема General Medical Council.
